State Chairs

Back in 2015 a friend of a friend asked if I had ever made a Wisconsin shaped back to my Adirondack chairs. At that point I hadn’t, so I gave it a shot. It was a hit! Hundreds of state shaped chairs later, I’m glad I gave it a go. After Wisconsin, Minnesota was naturally the next to be made, then Michigan, Illinois, Ohio, Maine, New York, North Dakota, Arizona, and I even have Indiana, Idaho, Missouri and several other versions drawn up. I’ve made a couple other states but not all state outlines lend themselves well to be the back of a chair. Want to see your favorite state made into a chair? University of Minnesota State Chair

A unique combination of maroon and gold. Cut in the shaped of the state of Minnesota and painted to match the U of Mn maroon color with gold M logo, the arms and legs are stained cedar for a one of a kind look.
